High Grade - O Gundam

The term Gunpla refers to plastic models of mecha, characters, or vehicles from the Japanese Gundam franchise marketed by Bandai; it is a contraction of "Gundam plastic model." It appeared in 1980.

All Gundam models are characterized by two essential properties:

- the pieces are interlocking

- and they are cast in colors.

Gunpla are categorized into ranges (called "grade") based on their quality and/or size.
