Gundam Wing/Wing EW

Gundam Wing (Shin Kidousenki Gundam Wing, New Mobile Report Gundam W) is one of many series in the Gundam saga started in 1979 with the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. The series is set in an alternate universe and follows the After Colony timeline.
There are thousands of colonies in space, which are grouped into five categories, called L1, L2, L3, L4 and L5 (after the Lagrange points) and divided into sectors within these zones. The government of Earth, under the command of the Earth Alliance (also called the Alliance), opposes the governments of the various colonies. A pressure group, within the Alliance, called Romefeller, will use its armed arm, Oz, to attack the colonies. Oz has infiltrated the alliance army by training the latter's elite troops. The counter-attack of the colonies is done by sending five gundam pilots (machines made of gundanium, the strongest metal that can only be made in space) to Earth.
