Universal Century 0001: Space colonization begins and humanity enters a new era. During the official ceremony presented by the Prime Minister of the Federation on the orbital station Laplace inaugurating the passage to the Universal Century calendar, a terrorist movement sabotages the structure of the colony causing an explosion destroying it. Syam is a young man who is part of this group claiming their deplorable living conditions that space immigrants lead. As the explosion expels him from their ship damaged by the attack, he discovers in the ruins of Laplace a strange artifact named "Boîte Laplace". Universal Century 0096: Three years have passed after the final confrontation of Neo-Zeon led by Char Aznable nearly brings down the asteroid Axis to Earth. The Industrial 7 settlement is still under construction at point L1. Banagher Links is a young man who grew up without knowing his father at the college of Anaheim Electronics, supported by him after the death of his mother. He is traveling for Industrial 7 aboard a ship acting as a mobile college from Anaheim with the members of his class. While touring the Colony's construction facilities, Banagher spots a young girl in the distance who appears to have fallen from the Colony's central pillar. Wanting to help her, he decides to take a maintenance MS to catch her in flight. Nevertheless, by saving Audrey Burn and wanting to accompany her towards her goal, Banagher does not suspect for a moment the terrible drama that is brewing outside and the events that will upset her existence...
